| So who likes the Tudors? OK, I know it's Hollywood-type hist/soap but it's still sumptuous. And then of course there's Jonathan Rhys Meyers! |

| I think the Tudors is great entertainment, though unfortunately I haven't seen any of the second series yet. The guy who plays Suffolk...yum!! _________________ "Sans lui n'estoit rien fait, et par lui estoit tous fait, et le creoit li rois plus que tout le monde." | Oh yes! It's got to be the place with the best-looking actors! Shame you can't get it in Germany! I missed last night's ep because I was out. Thank goodness for BBC iplayer! :[url=http://ww |

| Stupid German television!! Still, I can always get the DVD sometime, and watch it all in one fell swoop rather than having to wait a week for the next one, haha! I see they're filming (I think) the 3rd series, and planning a 4th. Excellent! _________________ "Sans lui n'estoit rien fait, et par lui estoit tous fait, et le creoit li rois plus que tout le monde." | Did anyone see Ep 6 last night (if you were in the UK that is?) - fantastic! Henry is really starting to go a bir deranged now and I'm sure Anne Boleyn is getting uglier (i didn't think she was that pretty in the first place). I think she's going to have that smug smile wiped off her face any time soon! And to see JRM absolutely starkers - from the back anyway... I must admit though - I actually quite miss Thomas Moore. Oh yes - did you see that ridiculous dress Anne was wearing in the dream-stabbing scene? It looks like the costume people went into the Star Wars wardrobe by mistake! |

| I'll be planted in the chair for season 3. I've read that the intention is not to have Henry get fat. |

| I was discussing the Tudors just before on the phone with my mum, and she was laughing at the anachronistic costumes! She secretly enjoys it though, even if she won't admit it. _________________ "Sans lui n'estoit rien fait, et par lui estoit tous fait, et le creoit li rois plus que tout le monde." | I've been looking at clips from the Tudors on You Tube (just put the Tudors in the search bar). There are some great interviews with JRM and Henry Cavill on there as well as a load of bloopers. I keep forgetting the US has already seen season 2!!! I'm guessing though that Anne loses her head at the end of this one - not that I'll be unhappy - she really grates on me! |

| I wish they'd find some excuse in Season 3 to bring back Thomas Tallis. The actor who played him was a feast for the eyes. |

| I couldn't actually get into Tallis - but I can see the attraction. He did have a kind of sweet innocence about him. Anyway, where did he disappear to? He seems to have been replaced by Smeaton - which kind of makes his character a bit of an irrevelance in the first place as it goes nowhere. Which is a shame. As for wishes, I wish Suffolk would shave his hair again. Having it longer doesn't really suit him IMHO - especially with the frilly collars. |

| The Tudors is my favourite period of history. Anne Boleyn is my heroine - has been since I was about 7 years old. I was devastated by the first series - seriously! - but am now able to see it and enjoy it for the load of old rubbish it is:) It doesn't help that I don't like Jonathan Rhys Meyers - but I will admit the male cast are very good looking - and I find it odd to find myself 'fancying' Thomas Cromwell! and Thomas Cranmer (the actor who plays him will be in the BBC's Tess, I think), and Mark Smeaton. I settle down every Friday night with a glass of wine, to lambast it and chck out the hunky cast! |

| I think you're the first person I've known who doesn't like JRM!!! I didn't think I would but I now find him incredibly sexy. On the other hand, I wouldn't go for Cromwell or Cranmer (although Moore was quite nice I always find it fascinating how some find beauty in one thing and others find it in completely something else. It's a pity you don't live close - we could have a 'Tudor night' |

| Is it just me or does anyone else find the Tudors' theme tune and opening sequence waaaay too long. Just as other opening sequences would have ended - off it goes again. It worked well as a trailer perhaps but now it just seems ridiculous! |
